In order to ensure efficiency, safety and security in the transit of goods provided in the expanded routes, detailed information (i.e. local road regulations and road user safety information) on the designated routes under Protocol 1 needs to be provided to transport operators and drivers.
This Drivers Brochure is a practical guide for drivers and transport operators engaged in cross-border road transport operations along the designated routes under Protocol 1 and 2. This brochure aims provide the relevant information on road rules and traffic laws, highway regulations, information on public infrastructure and facilities, international cross- border formalities, government guidelines, procedures on licensing permits, local maps, as well as important contact information in case of emergencies. This manual will be updated from time to time to reflect the changing conditions and latest regulations along the relevant routes as and when necessary.
