Designated Routes and Customs Office

The designated transit transport routes and frontier posts to be used for ACTS transit operations are governed by the provisions of Protocol 1 and 2 of the AFAFGIT. The following frontier posts and routes have been agreed by the ASEAN Member States:

Note: Each Participating Member State has set a national ACTS transit time limit, as shown below, which is the maximum time permitted for a truck to cross from an entry point to an exit point in the country.  If this limit is exceeded, the Customs Authority will contact the Principal trader for an explanation of why the truck has not reached its exit point within the required time, and ask the Principal trader to report the current location of the truck and estimated time of arrival at the next ACTS office.  The same ACTS time limit also applies from the point of departure to the first exit point, and from the entry point to the final destination.
